Armed & Trained Company Policies

Concealed carry training is conducted in-person only. There are no virtual options available. Classroom trainings take place in Columbia, MD, or Oxon Hill, MD. You must attend the location where you registered.

Armed & Trained welcomes participants of all experience levels, including those who have never handled a firearm.

You must be at least 21 years old or within 45 days of your 21st birthday to participate in training.

Training spaces are limited and tend to sell out. Your spot is guaranteed only after payment is received.

Participants must provide their legal first and last name, matching their driver’s license. Name corrections (not due to a clerical error by Armed & Trained) will incur a $50 fee.

A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of registration, containing class details and contact information. If you do not receive the email within 48 hours, contact phebe@armedtrained.com.

Concealed carry training consists of two days: classroom training and a shooting qualification. Attendance on both days is mandatory to complete the training.

A $50 range fee is required for the shooting qualification. This fee includes range time, firearm rental, eye and ear protection, ammunition, and targets.

Participants may bring their own firearm to the range (not the classroom). You will still be charged the $50 range fee and must bring at least 50 rounds of ammunition.

Weapons (firearms, knives, tasers, martial arts weapons, etc.) are not allowed in the training room. Please leave them in your vehicle.

Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late to the classroom session must reschedule and will incur a $50 reschedule fee. Arrive at the range on time as specified in your confirmation email.

Armed & Trained does not replace documents older than one year from the training date. The replacement fee for damaged or misplaced documents is $60 per document. Replacement documents will retain the original training date.

Begin the renewal process 90 days before your permit expires. Priority is not given to renewal registrations, so plan ahead.

Participants who cannot attend their scheduled training may reschedule. Requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled training will incur a $50 reschedule fee. Armed & Trained does not issue concealed carry permits and cannot guarantee approval. Contact the relevant agency if your permit is denied.

If you fail to attend your scheduled training session and do not contact Armed & Trained by 11:59 PM on the day of the training, your registration cost and any collected range fees will be forfeited.

Reschedule requests made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled training incur no fee. A $50 reschedule fee applies for requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled classroom training or shooting qualification.
